The international crisis stemming from President Biden abruptly pulling American troops from Afghanistan is not going away. The situation is quite dire and in real time, thousands of U.S. citizens remain stranded in Afghanistan while the Taliban takes over.

The Biden administration has openly admitted that it has no plan to safely bring these Americans back home. Moreover, due to the return of the Taliban, the Biden administration also cannot guarantee the safety of these Americans.

As this crisis plays out, Biden is threatening with legal action Republican governors who let parents determine whether or not their kids wear masks in classrooms. During instances when Biden has spoken about Afghanistan, he’s refused taking even an iota of responsibility.

In light of all this, the Afghanistan crisis is expected to further tank Biden’s declining approval ratings.

Low favorability ratings for President Biden

Over the past 16 weeks, Biden’s approval ratings have taken a downward turn. This is due to public safety concerns, inflation, and COVID; however, the Afghanistan crisis is truly a nightmare. Even Democrats and leftist media outlets like CNN are holding Biden’s feet to the fire on this one.
