Earlier today, McCarthy stated that by refusing to pass along impeachment articles, Pelosi is “admitting defeat.”
At this point, the likelihood of President Trump receiving a default exoneration is getting higher and higher. Moreover, Senate Republicans have repeatedly maintained that they will vote to shut down impeachment if a trial occurs.
