French President Emmanuel Macron asked for calm on Friday. Macron banned Freedom Convoys in France.
Police were stationed around France’s capital, at toll booths and throughout key transportation sites. The attempt to stop the convoys of vans, cars and trucks En-route to the city, despite the ban.
Freedom Convoy 2022 started as a trucker revolt. According to a statement posted to their Facebook page, a small group of western Canadian truckers launched the protest. But it is gaining support and sometimes momentum across the globe.
