President Trump, himself, weighed in on the matter via Twitter. The president pointed out that O’Rourke’s decision to drop out of the race came after the former Texas congressman declared himself as “born for this.”

Beto O’Rourke is one of several Democrats to drop out of the 2020 race. In the wake of O’Rourke’s departure, other candidates are struggling to raise enough capital to continue their campaigns.
