An unsustainable presidency

At this point, Biden’s presidency is not sustainable. More than seven in ten Americans do not view the nation as heading in the correct direction. Meanwhile, massive swaths of voters across the board do not favor the president’s job in office.

It is unclear how Biden plans to move going forward. Perhaps, his game plan is to do as much damage as possible between now and 2024. Another alternative is Biden simply biding his time before Republicans take back Congress.

Either way, this is not a successful administration. Instead of winning over people with time, Biden’s losing further support. Likewise, the president has abandoned his promises to unify Americans.

If future polls follow previous patterns, the numbers will keep sinking lower and lower. By the time the 2022 midterms roll around, Biden’s national approval rating could fall into the high 20% range or even into the high teens.
