‘Look, families are getting clobbered by the cost of everyday things,’ he said. ‘I know that gas and food prices are up, we’re working to bring them down.’
Biden says his own family is being hit hard by inflation. And he felt it when gas prices ticked up.
‘I understand,’ the president claimed. ‘These are necessities. But they’re not the totality of what a family needs,’ he argued.
‘So, while we work on supply chains, and we work on bringing down the cost of the things we’re talking about that have gone up so high. We still have other ways we can reduce the burden on working class families,’ the president still believes that Build Back Better is the only way to solve the problems.
