Biden, Trump Virtually Tied in NYT/Sienna Poll

Despite previous surveys showing that most Americans didn’t want a redo of the 2020 presidential election, that’s exactly what this country is getting.

Joe Biden and Donald Trump, for all intents and purposes, are the respective nominees of their political parties. Barring some major, unforeseen plot twist at the eleventh hour, the 2024 White House race will – yet again – see these two contenders facing off against each other.

Americans on both sides of the political spectrum have weighed in on whether they think Biden or Trump can win.

Some believe the incumbent president, despite polls showing considerable dissatisfaction with his job performance, will pull off another victory. Those with this mindset argue that whatever grievances voters may have with Biden, they simply dislike Trump even more.

Others feel that polls showing Trump either slightly leading Biden or in dead heat with him are indicators that Trump could return for another White House tenure come January 2025.

Amid all the speculation, a new poll from the New York Times/Sienna shows Biden and Trump virtually tied with each other.

The latest presidential poll that has Americans talking

This past weekend, the poll surveying nationwide voters has Biden standing at 45%, whereas Trump carries 46%. Back in February, a survey showed the incumbent president holding 43% support to Trump’s 48%.
