The Biden administration's got a mounting series of problems happening under their watch. The U.S.-Mexico border is one example; other instances include rising rates of crime, increasing living costs, inflation, etc.

None of this reflects well on either the Biden administration or the Democrats currently controlling Congress. Both parties are well aware of this, especially with the approach of the 2022 midterm elections.

The White House, at this time, is working hard to redirect negative press. They also don't want to openly tie President Biden to the aforementioned problems that have emerged since his time in office.

However, the White House can't smooth this out by simply acting like the issues aren't present. A new poll from Gallup reveals that the president's nationwide approval rating continues to tank.

The falling support for President Biden

Biden's approval ratings began to take a turn for the worse starting in April. Since then, matters have gotten drastically worse for both the nation and this White House administration.

According to Gallup's findings, Biden's approval rating dropped to 50%. Last month, the president had a 56% approval rating; this demonstrates a pattern of regressive support for Biden, the longer his presidency carries out.

Furthermore, President Biden's disapproval rating rests at 45%. Biden's approval rating amongst different political groups sits at 12% from Republicans, 48% for Independents, and 90% for Democrats.

Stagnation in America

For the Americans who do not approve of President Biden, his policies largely bear responsibility for this. The president recently took heat after sharing with the public his plan to have unimmunized Americans visited by government officials.

As gas, rent, groceries, and everything else goes up in price, many folks are thereby faulting Biden for this. Once again, the White House is working to deflect blame from Biden and pass the buck in any way possible.

Meanwhile, the president and his reinforcements in Congress are pushing for more spending. Republicans and others maintain that excessive spending is what's created the current issues with inflation and more.

As the 2022 midterm elections get closer, the state of the nation under Biden's leadership will keep capturing the spotlight. Already, there are growing concerns within the Democrat Party that voters' discontent with the president will hand Republicans midterm victories.
