Buy Online, Pickup In-store has been around for a while, but this year, it’s popularity increased by 50 percent. Adobe can’t say for sure what caused the spike, but assumes it’s due to traditional retail and online retail blending together.

The cities that spent the most money online aren’t too shocking. Consumers in Denver had the largest checkout baskets coming in at $163 each. They were followed by San Franciscans who spent $157 each, then came New Yorkers and Portlanders who spent $156. Nationwide the average was a bit smaller at only $138 spent per person.
