Religion Worship in the Age of COVID-19

Some places of worship are willing to reopen for in-person services, while others are not. Churches and other similar religious bodies that choose not to reopen at this time are hosting virtual services and otherwise connecting online.

However, places of worship that do wish to reopen have remained largely vocal about this. Many people also praised President Trump for coming to the defense of the religious community last week.

On Friday, the president professed that governors must do the right thing and allow places of worship to reopen. Furthermore came Trump’s warning that if governors fail to do this, he will “override” their orders.
