Those who find America to be an offensive nation should find another country to emigrate to or call home.

Preserving Patriotism

The Daily Wire reports that Vista Del Lago High School students are now under orders to not to chant “USA!” Apparently, this now “offensive and intolerant.” School officials claim “there’s a time and place for that” and laud the importance of “practicing kindness and practicing empathy.

Practicing kindness and empathy are great, however, it’s a two way street. People who come to America have to be kind and empathetic as well. This means acknowledging that part of emigrating to America is abiding by our laws and customs. Hearty chants of “USA” are a longtime pastime of America citizens. If this offends certain people, perhaps they don’t belong here.

Anti-American Indoctrination

What is happening to our young people? What is happening to our education system? Why are children being groomed to detest America?

Parents justifiably took issue with Vista Del Lago High School’s egregious mandate:

I want to chant USA because I want us to pull together and help, not because I want anybody to feel left out or not a part of our country,” says Natalie Woodbury.

A student from Vista Del Lago High School also explained his rationale for chanting “USA!”:

To say USA, you know, we’re all the same. We’re all American. It doesn’t matter what your skin tone is or where you’re from.

Moreover, political correctness will be the death of this nation. As a matter of fact, patriotism should not even be viewed as politically incorrect, however, it sadly is. It’s so dire that young, impressionable minds are subliminally and directly told that showing love for one’s country is bad.

When did this happen? Love for America was once the great equalizer, regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, or the like. Somehow, we as a nation will have to find our way back to this place.

Things To Understand Going Forward

America is, by far, the greatest nation in the world. No, America is not a perfect nation, but we are great. There is always room for improvement and going forward, we must ensure that America-hating left wingers do not brainwash our young people into believing that patriotism is a bad thing.

It is okay to love one’s country.

It is okay to chant “USA! USA! USA!”

Those who feel differently, those who seek to tear this nation apart, have no place here. Hopefully, Vista Del Lago High School officials will remain mindful and understand that in America, the people of this nation come first.
