Conservatives Raise Concerns about Alleged FBI Plant in Trump Campaign

Republican leaders issued the following statements regarding the foregoing theory:

I think if the campaign was somehow set up, I think that would be a problem, right? If there were somehow meetings that occurred and all of this was a setup?

If they did this, if there was a plant, if there was a spy, if there was an informant put in the other party’s campaign during the election, that is as wrong as it gets.

One of the President’s lawyers also shared similar remarks:

I don’t know for sure, nor does the President, if there really was one. For a long time we [were] told there was some kind of infiltration. At one time, the President thought it was a wire tap.

Feedback Regarding Alleged FBI Plant

Suggestions that the FBI placed a mole within the Trump campaign have faced backlash from critics. Many of the President’s detractors furthermore dismissed the foregoing theory as baseless, citing a lack of evidence. However, others remain unsure of whether or not the suggestions are merited.

At this time, theories regarding an FBI plant in the Trump campaign remain neither proven nor disproven.
