Gas Prices Continue to Increase in Biden’s America

This would mark a nearly triple increase of the $2.41 per gallon average that gas cost before Biden came into office.

The Biden administration’s response

Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen argues the current administration has been working hard to lower gas costs. However, Yellen has yet to acknowledge the role that Biden’s energy policies play in current gas prices.

The president is still blocking Keystone XL pipeline; he’s also still interfering with oil drilling, along with oil and gas leases. Allowing these measures to resume would increase the supply of US oil, therefore lowering prices.

However, this is not something the White House is willing to do. As it turns out, this administration cares more about its own climate change plans than about providing relief to Americans who desperately need it.

The current prices of gas remain set to play a huge role in the midterm elections. As it turns out, paying an arm and a leg for gas doesn’t appeal to all that many people across the nation.
