To say that Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis has seen the rise of his political stock in recent years would be a significant understatement. The Florida governor wrapped up 2022 with a landslide reelection victory.

On top of that, there are more and more conservatives urging DeSantis to run for president in the 2024 presidential election. Many polls show DeSantis beating both Trump and Biden.

Other data indicates that if anyone can prevent Trump, who's already declared his candidacy in the upcoming presidential race, from getting the GOP nomination, it's DeSantis.

With a new year bringing us all closer to the 2024 presidential election, support for a DeSantis presidential run is truly picking up steam.

A strong push for DeSantis 2024

Ron to the Rescue and Ready For Ron have each emerged to help the Florida governor potentially run for president. These groups, while not affiliated with DeSantis, pledge that if he runs, they'll turn over all the work they've done to make his path to victory smoother.

Now, another pro-DeSantis PAC is here. This time, it's NH Draft DeSantis. Like its other variants, NH Draft DeSantis wants to ensure the Florida governor runs for office and has every advantage in his arsenal if he does.

Both NH Draft DeSantis and Ron to the Rescue also had tables set up at a yearly function hosted by the New Hampshire Republican Party. New Hampshire plays a vital role in presidential primary elections, hence the focus on boosting DeSantis in this particular state.

Ron to the Rescue is expected to campaign for a DeSantis 2024 run in not just New Hampshire, but also Nevada and Iowa.

Trump camp getting nervous?

Last year, former President Trump began taking unprovoked shots at DeSantis. This happened much to the annoyance of many conservatives, some of whom see DeSantis as a great replacement for Trump.

This year, the former president continued. He's strangely accused DeSantis of "disloyalty" and claimed credit for the Florida governor winning his first term in 2018.

Trump hasn't mentioned DeSantis' blowout reelection victory that came last year, despite lacking the much-touted Trump endorsement.

Americans will have to keep their eyes peeled as to whether or not DeSantis decides to jump into the 2024 presidential race.
