The progressives and liberal media pundits who rage tweet at Manchin aren’t voting for him. Meanwhile, Manchin’s actual voters and constituents like the filibuster as it currently is. It wouldn’t make sense for the West Virginia senator to turn against the filibuster.

For what it’s worth, Manchin is not the only lawmaker who doesn’t want to end or weaken the filibuster. Arizona Sen. Kyrsten Sinema, another moderate Democrat, also opposes ending the filibuster.

Right now, all 50 GOP senators and at least 2 Democrat senators support keeping the filibuster. The push to end the filibuster is nothing more than a radical leftist power grab.
