Arizona, Georgia, Tennessee, and North Carolina are also states seeing rises in new residents. Meanwhile, the highest numbers of departures come from New York, California, Illinois, Pennsylvania, etc.
A bitter pill for Democrats to swallow
Members of the Democrat Party are constantly trashing red states like Florida. Yet, judging from people’s moving habits, more people want to live life in Florida than in states like California.
The mass exodus shows the policies being put in place by Democratic legislatures and governors simply don’t work. Weeks ago, the California state legislature actually killed a gas tax removal proposal; then, the legislature went on to actually heighten the gas tax.
In New York City, the Democratic mayor kept a mask mandate in place for very young children. If Democrats persist with these policies, their states will get smaller and smaller.
Already, California actually lost a House seat, due to a drastic decline in population numbers. Nevertheless, this blue state and others remain set in their ways with these radically left-wing reforms.
