Likewise, the legislation brought forward in the House cites Trump has having egged on rioters at the Capitol. That comes in addition to him waiting for hours on end before condemning those who breached the Capitol.

Despite the points brought up by House Democrats, whether or not the legislation actually passes through Congress is an entirely different matter. At this time, Democrats have narrow majorities in both the House and the Senate.
