After three months of surveillance investigators executed search warrants on November 1 at four locations in Lynn, Massachusetts.
The primary objective was to apprehend Garcia, Bejin, and Felix.
Search and Seizure
During these searches, authorities made the drug discovery, with the Department of Justice suggesting that this was one of the largest single-location seizures of fentanyl and methamphetamine in Massachusetts and the surrounding region.
The search yielded more than 200 pounds of drugs. Among these, approximately 20 pounds consisted of heart-shaped fentanyl-laced pills designed to resemble pink Valentine’s Day candy. Even more alarming, around 180 pounds of the seized drugs were found in the basement of a two-family residential home, where multiple families, including small children, resided.
The vast assortment of drugs included 22 pounds of methamphetamine and cocaine base, 37 pounds of suspected raw methamphetamine (equivalent to approximately 3.5 million doses), and 61 pounds of Percocet pills suspected to contain fentanyl (approximately 280,000 doses).
