Mishcon De Reya Riyadh Site

In a thrilling development, international law heavyweight Mishcon de Reya LLP has set its sights on Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, unveiling a groundbreaking move in the legal landscape. This bold endeavor comes as Saudi Arabia's government eases regulations, welcoming foreign legal firms to navigate the intricacies of Saudi law.

Mishcon de Reya Enters the Arena

In a groundbreaking revelation, Mishcon de Reya unveiled its ambitious vision to establish a prominent presence in Riyadh. The law firm intends to achieve this milestone through a strategic joint venture with the esteemed Ebrahim Al Habardi Law Office, forming the entity known as Mishcon de Reya Lawyers & Legal Consultants.

The New Dawn in Riyadh

This groundbreaking endeavor is poised to transform the legal landscape of Saudi Arabia. Led by the visionary founder of Ebrahim Al Habardi Law Office and three distinguished lawyers from Mishcon de Reya, the new office will specialize in providing legal support to Saudi families and international enterprises operating within the kingdom.

The diverse range of services offered will encompass corporate matters, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, projects, construction, real estate, as well as litigation and arbitration. This move signifies the firm's commitment to tapping into the immense potential of the Saudi Arabian legal market.

Mishcon De Reya Riyadh Site : de Reya's Vision

Kevin Gold, the executive chairperson of Mishcon de Reya, spoke passionately about the significance of this strategic move. He asserted, "Saudi Arabia is already a key jurisdiction for us and is rightly recognized as the biggest single market for legal services in the Middle East."

He continued, "The opening of an office in Riyadh is a logical next step and further underlines our commitment to the region. Having a fully functioning office in Saudi Arabia is also consistent with our expansion to meet the needs of our global clients, complementing our offerings in Singapore and Hong Kong."

Rising Interest in Saudi Arabia

Mishcon de Reya joins a growing list of international and UK-based law firms showing intense interest in the flourishing Saudi Arabian legal sector. Recent developments in the region have paved the way for this surge in enthusiasm, with the Saudi government's approval of changes to its Code of Law Practice to allow foreign legal firms to provide consultations on the kingdom's laws.

This week, Kirkland & Ellis LLP announced its entry into the kingdom, with key hires from Latham & Watkins LLP and White & Case LLP.

Squire Patton Boggs LLP secured its license in Saudi Arabia after entering into a cooperation agreement with The Law Office of Looaye M. Al-Akkas.

In the same vein, Greenberg Traurig LLP formed a strategic alliance with the Khalid Al-Thebity Law Firm in Riyadh back in March, marking a significant milestone in their journey.

Dentons, which already had offices in Riyadh and Jeddah operating in association with The Law Firm of Wael A. Alissa, received a foreign law firm license from Saudi Arabia's Ministry of Justice.

Additionally, Addleshaw Goddard LLP has unveiled its plans to open an office in Riyadh, cementing the growing interest in the kingdom.

The established presence of Latham, White & Case, Clifford Chance LLP, Herbert Smith Freehills LLP, and Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan LLP further underscores the appeal of Saudi Arabia as a legal jurisdiction.

Mishcon De Reya Riyadh Site : A Strategic Leap

Martin Davies and Yusuf Giansiracusa, the joint chairmen of Mishcon de Reya Lawyers & Legal Consultants, highlighted the strategic significance of expanding into Saudi Arabia at this pivotal juncture. They noted that, "With the Kingdom currently driving economic diversification and the liberalization of its business environment, the opening of our Riyadh office will greatly enhance our ability to support a wide range of Saudi Arabian clients internationally."

This audacious move by Mishcon de Reya signifies a landmark moment in the evolution of the Saudi legal landscape, demonstrating the firm's unwavering commitment to innovation and global expansion.
