Federal prosecutors granted immunity to David Pecker, the CEO of The National Enquirer, in exchange for details on a case.
Anonymous sources at The National Enquirer claim that the company has evidence of President Donald Trump’s hush money. It allegedly bought exclusive rights to stories it never intended to publish.

Michael Cohen, Trump’s former attorney, revealed the newspaper’s involvement earlier his week. When he pleaded guilty to financial crimes related to Trump’s campaign, he said that the president and The National Enquirer were also involved.
Cohen said that Pecker “offered to help deal with negative stories about (Trump’s) relationships with women by, among other things, assisting the campaign in identifying such stories so they could be purchased and their publication avoided.”
