With the midterm elections past, a lot more attention is being directed toward the 2024 presidential election. With 2023 right around the corner, the next White House race is closer than it may appear.

Currently, a lot of speculation exists as to whether or not 2024 will end up being a 2.0 version of the 2020 presidential election.

Former President Trump already declared his candidacy for the GOP nomination; meanwhile, Joe Biden continues to publicly toy with the possibility of seeking a second term.

Quite frankly, neither one of them should secure the nominations of their respective parties. It is time for a generational leadership change; furthermore, America deserves better than both Trump and Biden.

The writing on the wall

A CNBC poll from just earlier this month reveals most Americans do not want either the current or former president running in 2024.

In the case of Trump, 61% of the country does not favor his current campaign for the White House. Meanwhile, a staggering 70% of the nation disagrees with Biden running for a second term.

Unfit for office

Despite being on opposite sides of the political spectrum, both Donald Trump and Joe Biden remain woefully unfit for office.
