Viewers will bare witness to not just Oppenheimer’s rise to fame, but also his fall from grace. Betrayals, political rivalries, and more play significant roles in the experiences faced by the theoretical physicist, even after the gains he made in nuclear development.
Barbenheimer
Oppenheimer arrived in theaters on July 21, just like the new hit movie Barbie.
Subsequently, many moviegoers began purchasing tickets to see the two films on the same day. Even the lead actors in both Oppenheimer and Barbie confirmed they’d be watching the opposite film in which they’re not starred.
Barbenheimer has taken the internet by storm, with shirts, hats, and other merchandise being sold in honor of it. Likewise, people are posting side-by-side photos of themselves on social media, with one in pink and the other in black and white, to pay homage to Barbenheimer.
So far, Barbie has brought in more money than Oppenheimer. Yet, both of these films, by any standard, have far surpassed the success threshold.
