Overall trust on economic management largely mirrors the feedback from Americans regarding inflation. Again, 47% of Americans have trust in the GOP to manage the economy; however, only 36% have faith in Democrats.
When it comes to jobs, Republicans carry more trust than Democrats yet again. 45% of Americans trust congressional Republicans on jobs in the country. Yet, only 39% told Politico and Morning Consult that their trust lies with Democrats.
Not looking good for Democrats
The economy is one of the leading issues in this country right now. With the midterms being months away, it doesn’t bode well for Democrats that they lack trust on issues like inflation, jobs, and the economy at large.
However, this feedback is very much in keeping with the leadership adopted by Democrats. The political left set the course for current economic hardship; therefore, it’s no surprise that few Americans trust the people who created this mess to adequately clean it up.
If there’s one thing Americans will remember when they’ve voting this November, it’s inflation.
