On Sunday, Former First Lady Bush said the Trump administration zero-tolerance policy is cruel, immoral and heart breaking.
“I live in a border state. I appreciate the need to enforce and protect our international boundaries, but this zero-tolerance policy is cruel. It is immoral. And it breaks my heart,” wrote Mrs. Bush in an op-ed published by The Washington Post.
According to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), around 2,000 undocumented children were separated from their parents/legal guardian at the border.
