Pres. Trump Will Not Allow the U.S. to be a “Migrant Camp”

President Donald Trump strongly defended his administration’s policy of separating undocumented children from their parents at the southern border.

During a meeting with the National Space Council, Pres. Trump said, “The United States will not be a migrant camp and it will not be a refugee holding facility. It won’t be. You look at what’s happening in Europe. You look at what’s happening in other places. We cannot allow that to happen in the United States. Not on my watch.”

In addition, the President emphasized that his administration wants safety and security for the United States.

Pres. Trump  blames Democrats 

Once again, Pres. Trump blamed Democrats for the immigration problem. He said, “I say it’s very strongly the Democrats fault” citing the reason that they are “obstructionist.” He added, “”If the Democrats would sit down instead of obstructing, we could have something done very quickly.”

Furthermore, Pres. Trump said the U.S. has the worst immigration law, but he believes it can be fixed. He described the separation of undocumented families at the border as a “sad situation.” However, he said, “Just remember, a country without borders is not a country at all.
