The President’s statements come after last week’s unfortunate high school shooting in Parkland, Florida. Since then, many Democrats have advocated for more austere gun control measures.
The NRA has also come under fire by enraged liberals. “#KillTheNRA” and other similar anti-NRA hashtags trended on Twitter over this past week. Conservatives have moreover countered the aforementioned attacks by affirming that the NRA is not at fault for the actions of rogue criminals.
