Like many Republicans, President Trump believes that a proper debate happens in person, face-to-face. The traditional format would block either candidate from getting assistance throughout the debate.
Finally, the debate commission’s management of the second debate has prompted questions about the group’s impartiality regarding the 2020 candidates. Some Americans believe that the Commission on Presidential Debates harbors unfair bias towards Biden, due to its decision to conduct the second debate virtually.
