Texas Prepares for New Migrant Arrivals at U.S.-Mexico Border

The governor explained that as a result of the president embracing open borders, more illegal immigrants are coming to enter the country. It is for this reason the Texas National Guard is working with Texas’ Department of Public Safety; together, these two bodies are working on taking illegal crossers into custody and sealing open areas.

Before this announcement, Abbott also revealed to America that Texas is working on securing the border as the Biden administration does absolutely nothing.

Support from other red states

There is no doubt that Texas is on the frontlines when it comes to securing the southern border. After all, the Lone Star State has largely felt the brunt of illegal immigration.

However, over the course of 2021, other red states have stepped in to assist Texas in their work. Florida deployed certain resources to aid Texas in dealing with the U.S.-Mexico border. Likewise, other states with Republican governors subsequently followed suit.
