Investigators are looking into another incident for a potential connection to the triple murder in Newton’s Nonantum village.
On Sunday morning, just prior to 7 a.m., police were alerted to an attempted break-in at a Brookside Avenue residence, situated approximately half a mile from the murder scene.
The homeowners did not immediately contact the police, only doing so after realizing the gravity of the situation.
Ryan issued a plea for heightened awareness from the public, especially residents of Nonantum and Newtonville, during the ongoing hunt for the triple murder perpetrator.
