In recent weeks, the growing field of Democrat contenders has received a fair amount of press. However, earlier today, former White House press secretary Sean Spicer appeared on America’s Newsroom.

During Spicer’s time on air, he affirmed that President Trump will run on merit and accomplishments in 2020.

Reviewing Spicer’s Commentary on Trump in 2020

First, Spicer began by noting the accomplishments which the president made while running for his first term in 2016:

“He won 306 electoral votes – states like Michigan and Pennsylvania and Wisconsin – the GOP hadn’t put some of those states in their column since 1988.”

The former White House press secretary then went on to explain why the odds may be against the Democrats, in spite of what they currently think:

“The biggest problem for the Democratic party is that these elections will come down to a big binary choice, a contrast.”

This is something which many Americans have noted as Democrats adopt what various people view as far-left policies. Spicer touched on this when he referred to proposed left-wing reforms as “the far-left, socialist extreme.”
