Over the course of President Trump’s first term, the economy has experienced various gains. Unemployment has decreased across the board as have the amount of Americans who are currently on food stamps. Spicer moreover stated that Trump has an advantage in critical battleground states.

In other parts of his interview with America’s Newsroom, Spicer mentioned his previous conversations with younger voters in this country. The former White House press secretary confirmed that many young people have concerns about climate change and view Bernie Sanders in a favorable light.
In recent months, Sanders has made headlines for his considerable support amongst younger voters. However, some people have questioned the underlying reasons for that support. Many ultimately concluded that the support boils down to Sanders’ vows to make various costly expenses free; examples include “free” healthcare, “free” college, etc.
Despite Sanders promises, many Americans are aware that there are no free lunches in life. Someone always foots the bill. That someone continuously turns out to be the American taxpayer, causing working people to lose more of their hard-earned money.
