In a statement, Bloomberg declared that “defeating Donald Trump” is what ultimately motivated him to exit the 2020 election. Later in this statement came a full-fledged endorsement of Joe Biden, a candidate that Bloomberg once stated had no chance against Trump.

An excerpt from the former 2020 Democrat’s endorsement of Biden reads as follows:
“I’ve known Joe for a very long time. I know his decency, his honesty, and his commitment to the issues. […] Joe has fought for working people his whole life. Today I am glad to endorse him – and I will work to make him the next president of the United States.”
