Calls to Crack Down on Hate Speech
Various groups and individuals have noted the existence of cyberbullying and hate speech on various social networking sites. This has, therefore, engendered pressure on these platforms to crack down on hate speech.
However, others have questioned who determines what is hate speech. There are also concerns that people could arguably label any speech they disagree with as hate speech. In certain scenarios, this could open the door to censorship yet again.
