The billion-dollar pop culture/fan industry continues to boom as the techno pandemic fades. Last year Fan Expo HQ acquired the Wizard World events. And its Toronto-based parent company, Informa, became the most prominent Pop Culture producer in the world.

With over one million fans & counting the global event giant is hosting some of the most popular, best-attended comic and fan conventions in the world. And is organized by Informa Connect.

 Wizard World’s events in Chicago, Philadelphia, Portland (OR), St. Louis, and Cleveland were all rebranded as Fan Expo events in 2022. 

And New Orleans, Louisiana is set for January 6-8, 2023, at the Ernest N. Morial Center.

Fan Expo HQ was already the largest comic con producer in the world. And hosts nearly 1 million fans annually.

The lineup across Canada and the US, including recent acquisitions of the Wizard Worlds, Orlando’s MegaCon, Denver Pop Culture Con, and the San Francisco convention controls the North American market. And gives Fan Expo HQ the largest global fan convention audience.

The Fan Exp HQ (a rebrand of Wizard World shows) aims to bring the fandom experience with superstar guests, creators, and celebrity panels. Fans are promised stars and creators will be on hand, in celebrity panels, signing autographs and available for photos.

The convention coming next month to New Orleans is expected to draw around 30,000 attendees. And promises family-friendly events for sci-fi, fantasy, horror, anime, and video gaming at the Ernest N. Morial Convention Center.

Events are planned that broadly celebrate pop culture. And comic books, movies, cartoons, and superheroes are in the mix. There will be a huge assortment of gifts and fans can shop for art, T-shirts, cups, and lots more.
