President Donald Trump is not going down in the 2020 presidential election without putting up  a serious fight.

On Thursday the president tweeted an allegation that voting software Dominion had eliminated votes for him by the millions.

“REPORT: DOMINION DELETED 2.7 MILLION TRUMP VOTES NATIONWIDE. DATA ANALYSIS FINDS 221,000 PENNSYLVANIA VOTES SWITCHED FROM PRESIDENT TRUMP TO BIDEN. 941,000 TRUMP VOTES DELETED. STATES USING DOMINION VOTING SYSTEMS SWITCHED 435,000 VOTES FROM TRUMP TO BIDEN,” the tweet said in all caps.

The president tagged One America News Network and its Washington correspondent, Chanel Rion in the tweet.

It appears that his tweet was in reference to the report by OANN that said “election systems across the country are found to have millions of votes cast for President Trump.” But that report is unverified.

The report said that the glitches swung the elections from President Trump to former Vice President Biden in Michigan and Georgia.

It also claimed that more than 200,000 votes were switched from Trump to Biden, but a report from The New York Times disputed the claim.

“The Dominion software was used in only two of the five counties that had problems in Michigan and Georgia, and in every instance there was a detailed explanation for what had happened. In all of the cases, software did not affect the vote counts,” The Times said.

Tina Barton, the Republican clerk in Rochester Hills, Michigan said that there was no truth to the Internet rumors that the voting software double counted some votes for Biden.

“As a Republican, I am disturbed that this is intentionally being mischaracterized to undermine the election process,” she said. “This was an isolated mistake that was quickly rectified.”

Gwinnett County, Georgia, election officials said “batches of absentee by mail ballots that were added to the Election Night totals without being fully adjudicated.”

It said that the staff “discovered earlier in the day that 3,200 batches would not push through because the software showed the adjudication still in progress even though it was completed. Ballots are scanned in batches and must remain together even if only one needs to be reviewed.”

Dominion itself fought back against the president, and OANN’s, claims that their software was responsible for changing the election.

“Dominion Voting Systems categorically denies any claims about any vote switching or alleged software issues with our voting systems,” a spokesman for the company said. “Our systems continue to reliably and accurately count ballots, and state and local election authorities have publicly confirmed the integrity of the process.”
