James Gunn, who played a significant role in shaping the new DC Universe, will be directing. And he confirmed the casting choices.

Gunn expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “Accurate! They are not only both incredible actors but also wonderful people.”

Previously, Gunn had mentioned that Corenswet and Brosnahan were contenders for the roles alongside Nicholas Hoult, further building anticipation for the film’s casting choices.

The announcement of “Superman: Legacy” came earlier this year as part of Gunn and Safran’s revamped DCU, with the first chapter titled “Gods and Monsters.”
