Barbie, one of 2023’s most anticipated movies, is here. Directed by Greta Gerwig and starring Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling, Barbie brings the famous doll that’s been around for generations to the big screen.
Many young girls today play with Barbie dolls, just as their moms and even grandmothers before them may have also played with Barbies.
However, Gerwig’s Barbie casts the iconic doll in an entirely new light, giving her unique agency and a path of her own to follow.
