USA HERALD – Charlie Kirk, 31, was shot and killed on September 10, 2025, while appearing at a Turning Point USA event at Utah Valley University. The assassination shocked both political allies and critics, but in the days following his death, attention quickly shifted to the scope of the empire he built and the fortune he left behind.

At the center is Turning Point USA, a conservative nonprofit Kirk founded as a teenager in 2012. What began as a scrappy student group in suburban Illinois grew into a fundraising machine rivaling legacy political organizations. In 2024 alone, Turning Point netted $85 million in revenue — up more than 142% over the past five years — with 99.2% of its revenue derived from charitable contributions.

Over its 13-year existence, the organization has amassed nearly a half-billion in total revenue, creating a sprawling donor network and media machine. Sources estimate that more than 500,000 donors were active at the time of Kirk’s death.
