A regional manhunt is actively underway across Southwest Florida after authorities issued a new arrest warrant for 33-year-old Adriel Martinez. Law enforcement officials confirmed Martinez violated the strict conditions of his judicial release following recent arrests for violent domestic battery, witness tampering, and narcotics possession. The fugitive, who has a documented history of targeting women, was last known to be hiding out in the Tice or Lehigh Acres areas.

Violent Rampage Leads to Flight

The active search for Martinez stems from a violent domestic dispute in Lehigh Acres that escalated rapidly into physical violence. According to Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers, Martinez entered a local residence and initiated a fierce verbal altercation with a female victim. The situation turned physical when Martinez allegedly seized an object and hurled it directly at the woman's face.

The assault occurred in close proximity to young children who witnessed the encounter. When the victim attempted to contact emergency services, Martinez intercepted the communication by grabbing her phone and throwing it onto the roof of the home to prevent her from calling 911. He then fled the scene in his vehicle, intentionally ramming into the victim's mailbox and a nearby stop sign.

Repeat Offender Evades Law Enforcement

Deputies located and apprehended Martinez a few days after the initial domestic assault. During the arrest, the suspect actively resisted law enforcement officers, who subsequently discovered both marijuana and amphetamines concealed inside his vehicle. Martinez was booked into the county jail but secured a release after serving just two days behind bars.

The newly issued warrant revokes his freedom after judicial authorities confirmed he violated his pre-trial release terms. Martinez is classified as a habitual offender with a deep criminal record in the region.

"This individual has a documented history of violence, particularly directed toward women, and needs to be removed from the streets immediately," Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers stated during their weekly fugitive alert.
