Sleeping Dog Documentary Chronicles Jeremy Corbell’s UFO Investigations Amid Growing UAP Transparency

The new documentary Sleeping Dog arrives at a pivotal moment in the ongoing debate over unidentified anomalous phenomena (UAPs), commonly known as UFOs. As governments release increasing amounts of information related to unexplained aerial sightings.

Sleeping Dog offers an inside look at one of the most prominent figures in the modern disclosure movement: investigative journalist and filmmaker Jeremy Corbell.

Directed by Michael Lazovsky, the film chronicles Corbell’s years-long pursuit of government transparency regarding UAPs and explores his efforts to bring whistleblowers, military witnesses, and classified information into the public spotlight.

Sleeping Dog Years in the Making

According to those involved in the project, Sleeping Dog was secretly filmed over several years, allowing audiences to witness Corbell’s work behind the scenes as he investigated alleged UFO encounters and pushed for greater disclosure.

The documentary includes previously unreleased footage gathered during Corbell’s investigations, along with interviews featuring several well-known figures in the UFO and aerospace communities.

Among those appearing in the film are late Apollo astronaut Edgar Mitchell, whistleblower David Grusch, and veteran investigative reporter George Knapp.

Supporters of the disclosure movement say the film provides rare insight into the people working to bring information about UAPs into the public domain.

Jeremy Corbell Role in the Disclosure Movement

Over the past decade, Corbell has become one of the most recognizable figures in UFO research.

His work has focused on collecting military footage, interviewing witnesses, and helping whistleblowers share their accounts with lawmakers and the public.

Corbell has also been involved in bringing attention to congressional hearings examining reports of unexplained aerial phenomena.

In recent interviews, he has argued that unidentified craft have repeatedly entered restricted airspace and that governments have been studying the phenomenon for decades.

Corbell maintains that increased transparency is necessary to understand what these incidents represent.

UFO-related Sleeping Dog  Renews Interest

The release of Sleeping Dog coincides with renewed public interest in UFO-related records following recent government disclosures.

Supporters of disclosure point to newly released documents and videos as evidence that official attitudes toward UAP investigations are changing.

The film reportedly features material that later appeared in recently declassified government files.

According to UFO researcher and Gaia executive Josh Golembeske, some of the footage Corbell obtained eventually became part of official document releases.

Additional information about government UAP investigations is available through All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office (AARO).

The Disclosure Debate

The documentary also explores a broader question that has divided researchers, government officials, and the public for decades: how much information should be released, and how quickly?

Golembeske described the current approach as a form of gradual disclosure, suggesting that governments may be releasing information incrementally to avoid overwhelming the public.

“I think this is a slow drip disclosure,” he said in comments discussing the issue.

Others argue that all available information should be released immediately, while skeptics maintain that many UAP reports ultimately have conventional explanations, including military technology, atmospheric phenomena, or sensor anomalies.

The debate remains unresolved.

Sleeping Dog Details Fear-Based Versus Hope-Based Narratives

One theme highlighted in the documentary is concern over how future disclosures might be presented.

Golembeske expressed support for transparency but warned against framing potential discoveries in a way that emphasizes fear.

Instead, he advocates for a more optimistic perspective that encourages curiosity and exploration.

Supporters of this approach argue that discussions about UAPs should focus on scientific inquiry rather than speculation or alarm.

Information about scientific investigations into unexplained aerial phenomena can be found through NASA Official Website.

Growing Public Interest in UAPs

Public interest in UAPs has increased dramatically in recent years.

Congressional hearings, military witness testimony, and the publication of government reports have brought the topic into mainstream discussion in a way rarely seen before.

High-profile whistleblowers such as David Grusch have further intensified attention by making claims regarding government knowledge of unexplained technologies.

While many of these claims remain unverified, they have fueled calls for additional transparency and investigation.

Documentaries like Sleeping Dog reflect the growing demand for information and the public’s fascination with one of the most enduring mysteries of the modern era.

Sleeping Dog Highlights UFO Conversations

Whether one views UAPs as evidence of advanced technology, misunderstood natural phenomena, or something else entirely, Sleeping Dog highlights how dramatically the conversation has evolved.

For decades, UFO discussions largely existed on the fringes of public discourse. Today, they are increasingly being discussed in government hearings, scientific studies, and mainstream media coverage.

As additional records are released and new investigations continue, the documentary suggests that the debate over what governments know—and what they should reveal—may be entering a new chapter.
