However, on Friday, Romania permitted Andrew Tate to serve what remains of his detention time in house arrest.
What to Know About Tate’s House Arrest
Tate went before an appeals court in Romania to once again seek house arrest, rather than having to serve out the remainder of his detention time in prison. After the fourth extension of said detention time, Tate will now remain under house arrest until at least the 21st of this month.
Previously, concerns existed about Tate and his brother being potential flight risks. However, Romania has seized at least millions in assets from the Tates. This includes cars, cash, watches, cryptocurrency, etc.
Amid Tate’s house arrest, Romanian law enforcement officials continue their investigation into the brothers and their female associates for human trafficking, organized crime, and rape.
Since their release from prison, both brothers have posted new updates on their Twitter accounts.
