Names like Cory Booker, Kirsten Gillibrand, and Kamala Harris have come up. Earlier today, Elizabeth Warren stated that after midterms, she will consider running for president.
Over the past year, the civility in U.S. politics has seriously declined. Americans on both sides of the aisle have noted the rampant extremism; both parties seem to be going further and further to either the left or the right. Certain commentators have warned that radicalism could put off voters who are moderates, centrists, or Independents.
Whether or not Bannon’s predictions come to fruition ultimately remains to be seen. To this day, Republicans and Democrats remain as the two major political parties in America. Many people in this country believe that midterms will significantly impact the 2020 election.
