Biden’s campaign maintains its denial of Reade’s allegations; however, this hasn’t stopped calls for the presumptive Democrat nominee to end his campaign.
The Push for Biden to Terminate His Presidential Campaign
While Republicans are not in Biden’s fan club at all, one of the latest calls for the presumptive Democrat nominee to end his campaign comes from someone on the left side of the aisle.
Peter Daou, a political adviser with links to John Kerry and Hillary Clinton, took to Twitter earlier today and urged Biden to drop out. Daou began his thread by noting his respect for “the will of the voters,” but also stating that the phone call from Reade’s mother is credible and in support of Reade’s account.
