Next Steps
- Court Approval: The proposed consent decree must still be approved by a federal judge.
- Implementation & Oversight: If approved, Fulton County must follow through on each of the mandated reforms under the watchful eye of an independent monitor.
- Public Engagement: Community members and interested parties can submit observations about jail conditions to help ensure compliance.
