Less than two weeks later a vulture named Pin was found dead in his habitat. The bird’s death was “suspicious.” And there was “an unusual wound and injuries” to Pin.
The zoo is reportedly offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and indictment of a suspect in the vulture’s death.
Dallas police continue to investigate all four incidents. A police spokesperson claims that this is now a joint investigation with the US Fish and Wildlife.
