Hadid was arrested on July 10 in the Cayman Islands, a popular Caribbean retreat for the affluent known for its lenient tax regulations, when she was found with cannabis and associated paraphernalia, according to sources.

Reportedly, Hadid, along with a companion, flew to the Caymans via a private jet.

Upon their arrival at Owen Roberts International Airport, their luggage was scrutinized and, as per Cayman Marl Road’s account, authorities uncovered “ganja and utensils used for the consumption of ganja”.

As a consequence, Hadid and her friend were arrested, transported to the Prisoner Detention Center, and later released on bail.

This interruption in their luxury vacation came as a shock to many.

Two days post-arrest, on July 12, the model and her associate pled guilty to the charges in court, receiving a fine of $1,000, but remarkably, “no conviction recorded,” stated the outlet.
