Infamous Paintball: Dan Bilzerian’s Surprising New Partnership

After a six-month hiatus, Dan Bilzerian has made his return to Instagram. But this time, it's not to flaunt private jets or be surrounded by scantily clad models. Instead, he is promoting paintball in partnership with Infamous Paintball.

Once known as "Blitz" on social media, Bilzerian gained fame by showcasing a lavish lifestyle filled with high-stakes poker, luxury yachts, limousines, and automatic weapons. However, his latest Instagram posts suggest a dramatic shift in content.

He is also infamously known for his amped up anti-Jewish rhetoric on his X account.

Partnering with Infamous Paintball

Bilzerian’s recent posts reveal a sharp departure from his former brand of excess. Gone are the models and heavy artillery; in their place, he wields paintball markers while dressed in tactical gear.

Once crowned the "King of Instagram," Bilzerian has had to tone down his social media presence due to mounting legal troubles. Recently, a British Columbia court found him in contempt for refusing to relinquish control of a social media account—one he is now actively posting on again.

The latest content presents a more restrained image of Bilzerian, as he participates in paintball skirmishes instead of high-stakes poker games. For someone who built his identity on opulence, this new focus appears surprisingly disciplined.

Ignite Lawsuit: Bilzerian vs. His Former Company

Bilzerian’s legal troubles did not end with the social media dispute.

Shareholders of Ignite, the cannabis company he once controlled, successfully petitioned a British Columbia judge to order him to surrender its Instagram login. Their lawsuit claimed that Bilzerian's antisemitic social media posts were tarnishing Ignite’s brand.

Despite losing control of the company, Bilzerian fought back, filing in the BC Supreme Court to reclaim ownership. However, the court ruled against him. Ignite, already under scrutiny for alleged securities fraud, removed him from leadership.

On October 30, 2024, a BC Supreme Court judge ordered Bilzerian to turn over the Instagram account. He refused. By February 2025, Justice Michael Tammen found Bilzerian in contempt of court and fined him $10,000.

The court order prohibited Ignite from using the social media account to feature Bilzerian’s name, image, or likeness. Bilzerian justified his defiance by claiming he feared Ignite would misuse his likeness. However, the judge ruled this was not a valid excuse. Another of Bilzerian’s arguments—that he had been unfairly removed from ownership—also failed to sway the court.

Although it remains unclear whether he has since complied, all previous posts on Ignite’s Instagram page have been deleted.

Even though he was noticeably quiet on Instagram for months, he never slowed down in his anti-Jewish rants on X. Some of that antisemitic rhetoric caused the legal issues with his former company.

Family Ties and Fraud Allegations

As Bilzerian’s legal battles persist, his former company remains at the center of a U.S. fraud indictment.

Prosecutors allege that Ignite was secretly controlled by his father, Paul Bilzerian, a convicted securities fraudster who owes the U.S. government more than $180 million in an unpaid judgment dating back decades.

In November, Bilzerian filed a lawsuit against his father, claiming he had been manipulated and pushed out of Ignite despite being its majority shareholder. The complaint describes Bilzerian as merely a “nominal CEO,” with no direct involvement in day-to-day operations.

Is Bilzerian Changing, or Just Rebranding?

Bilzerian’s sudden interest in Infamous Paintball seems like an unusual career pivot. Paintball—a niche tactical sport many associate with the early 2000s—is a far cry from the high-rolling image he once projected.

But is this truly a shift in character or just a strategic rebranding?

In an era where influencer power is waning and authenticity is more valuable than excess, Bilzerian might be trying to adapt to survive. Or, perhaps, he simply enjoys guns and has found a legal way to keep shooting—this time, with paint instead of bullets.

Before anyone assumes he has turned over a new leaf, his X (formerly Twitter) account remains active, filled with antisemitic rhetoric. On March 29, 2025, he posted:

“If you’re not Jewish but you support Israel Congrats You’re one of the dumbest and most gullible motherf**kers on the planet.” (source)

While his Instagram presence may have shifted, his online behavior suggests the same controversial hate-spewing personality lurks beneath the surface.
