You sometimes do not get everything you want but keeping the Senate is imperative to ensuring that we, as Republicans, do not get everything we do not want.

But Wood took it even further, calling for the arrest of the Georgia governor and citing the Revolution of 1776.

He said that Republican Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp should call a special session of the state legislature “to fix the mess he created.”

“And then he can resign. And as far as I’m concerned, lock him up,” he said as the crowd cheered. He then demanded that others “need to go with him.”

Wood said that his message is that “it’s 1776 in America again, and you’re not going to take our freedom.”

“We’re going to fight for our liberty,” he said. “This is the battle between good and evil. This is the battle between truth and lies.”
