“The fact that his roommate was a henchman has nothing to do with him. He didn’t select his roommate. The fact that he knew that doesn’t really tell the Court that he was involved in the conspiracy.” Bird added.
Nowalk told the judge there is surveillance video of Geas and DeCologero going into Bulger’s cell. They entered 6 minutes after he was wheeled in early in the morning.
The footage also shows that McKinnon can see Bulger’s cell while the other two alleged murderers were inside for seven minutes. Two hours later Bulger was found dead according to Nowalk.
Prosecutors also claim to have an inmate witness who claims both McKinnon and DeCologero admitted to the murder and told him that McKinnon was their lookout.
