Days ago, New Hampshire Gov. Chris Sununu came out with an enthusiastic endorsement of Nikki Haley’s presidential campaign. According to the GOP governor, it’s his view that Haley deserves to be the next president, has a favorable record, and carries the fortitude to connect with voters and get things done.
Given Sununu’s considerable popularity in the Granite State, political pundits immediately speculated that his support would go a long way for Haley.
The New Hampshire governor also made it clear that in addition to endorsing the former UN ambassador’s campaign, he’ll also put in the grassroots work to help her win as many votes as possible during the state’s primary in January.
Days after Sununu’s endorsement, a new poll out of New Hampshire shows Haley gaining momentum.
What’s going on in the Granite State?
A survey conducted by YouGov and CBS News reveals Haley taking home the non-Trump vote. Amongst New Hampshire Republicans who are ready to move past the former president, 29% back Haley. Following her is Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis at 11% and former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie at 10%.
